Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter is best known for her role as feisty local businesswoman Chas Dingle on the long-running ITV soap opera.
She is instantly recognizable for the role she played for nearly two decades.
Chas has been at the center of several hard-hitting storylines during her time in the Dales, ever since joining the show as a stripper when she was hired for her cousin’s bachelor party (yes, really), to later become co-owner of The Woolpack.

Chas has also had his fair share of turbulent relationships since his unstable marriage to Carl King, his on-and-off romance with vet Paddy Kirk and his next affair with sleazy man Al Chapman.
However, in her own life, the 45-year-old actress was in a long-term relationship with her former partner Rudi Coleano for 12 years.
The former couple, who share three daughters – Lola, 16, and twins Missy and Betsy, 5, released a statement confirming they ended their long-term romance in 2019.
The statement read: “Lucy Pargeter has confirmed that she has separated from longtime partner Rudi Coleano and, although they are no longer together, their main priority is raising their three daughters.”
Despite their long engagement that lasted more than a decade, Lucy and Rudi never managed to get married – even though the actress proposed only a fortnight after they met.
But they bonded in 2012, with Lucy revealing at the time: “We were in Dubai about a month ago and we were like, ‘Damn, as long as we’re here, let’s do it’. Then I thought all our homies would.” be like, ‘Oh cheers, thanks for the invite’.”
The mom-of-three recently opened up about her special relationship with co-star Emma Atkins, who played Chas’ cousin Charity Dingle for nearly 20 years.
The actresses, who have a mutual understanding of juggling motherhood and a busy work schedule, jointly manage childcare.
As their children go to the same school, they often help each other by taking turns to race to school.
The Charity Dingle star said: “We rock each other, there’s an innate trust, an authenticity there. We make each other laugh and we’ve never enjoyed working together.”
