Fabrizio Romano provides update on Leeds United transfer activity

Fabrizio Romano has said Leeds United will make “one more signing” before the end of the current transfer window.

Los Blancos have been active in the market as they signed six players and also lost two stars to Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips against Barcelona and Manchester City.

While talking to YouTube channel Que Golazo on Monday, July 18, Romano said he expects Leeds to make just one more addition, who will likely be a striker, before the end of the window.

“I see Leeds signing one more player – one more striker, I would say,” he said. “They have already signed a lot of players, we have to mention that Radrizzani and Orta have done a lot of deals this summer.

“So maybe they just need something in [the] attacking position and it will likely be the last for Leeds this summer.

Promising lyrics

Those words from Romano will be music to listen to for Leeds fans who will be eager for more players, at least in the attacking department to cover Patrick Bamford who struggled with injury last campaign.

The England international’s absence for most of the season was one of the main reasons for Los Blancos’ struggle as they narrowly escaped relegation.

With another season just around the corner, on the face of it, Leeds are once again likely to be embroiled in the relegation battle with some of the newly promoted sides and it will be interesting to see how the team fare without the presence. of arguably their two best who are no longer at the club.

It will also be a test for Leeds manager Jesse Marsch who will have his work cut out for him as he tries to make things work with the addition of more than six players to the squad, which is never easy.

In other Leeds United news, another more in-demand left-back option was suggested by a fan who had the idea destroyed by a reporter on Twitter.
