I’m a celebrity: Ant and Dec shoot Boris Johnson for script error

Ant and Dec joked at Boris Johnson’s expense in the last episode of I’m a celebrity … Get me out of here.

In part of Monday’s episode (November 22), contestants had to compete against each other in a task to win a cake for their group.

Ant and Dec discussed where they bought the cakes, taking the opportunity to ridicule the Prime Minister’s recent blunder at the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) conference.

Addressing a crowd earlier in the day, Johnson seemed to lose his place in his speech, muddling his notes during an uncomfortable time while saying, “Forgive me.”

At I am a celebrity, Ant (real name Anthony McPartlin) asked his longtime presenter partner where they bought the cakes for the task.

Dec (real name Declan Donnelly) then shuffled papers saying, “Forgive me” in a fun Johnson knockoff.

Eventually he finds the answer: “Poundland.

Viewers rejoiced in the jibe, with one Twitter user writing, “Ant and Dec taking Boris’s p *** off. As if I couldn’t love them anymore.

“Funniest thing I’ve seen in ages,” someone else wrote. “Television gold”.
