Swift may have played his last game for Reading

Midfielder John Swift may have played his last game for Reading after picking up an injury and manager Paul Ince expects him to be out for the rest of the season. Swift is rumored to be a potential addition to Leeds United.

So far this season, Swift has 11 goals and 13 assists in 38 games for Reading. However, his contract is due to expire this summer and he has so far shown no signs of signing a new one.

The 26-year-old has played around 200 games for Reading. Before that, he played for Chelsea.

Leeds ‘hope’ to complete Aaronson deal

The daily mail jumped into speculation over RB Salzburg’s Brett Aaronson. Leeds United have been searching for the midfielder for a long time now and, according to the Mail, hope to bring him through soon.

Aaronson is an American international player and is still only 21 years old. Of course, manager Jesse Marsch is fully aware of what the youngster is capable of from his time in Austria.

The Mail wrote: “Leeds are also hoping to complete the signing of United States international Brenden Aaronson from Red Bull Salzburg.”
