Obituary of Carroll Theriot (1943 – 2022) – Cut Off, LA

Carroll John Theriot, 78, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died with his loving family by his side.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. A Christian funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with interment at St. Francis #2.
Carroll is survived by his children, Tammy T. Haydel (Robert, Jr.), Troy Theriot (Michelle), and Tricia Theriot; grandchildren, Brigette Frank, Vanessa Bonner, Hadley Theriot and Starr Leger; great-granddaughter, Aly Billiot; loving companion, Dina Alloway; step-grandchildren, Lauren and Brayden Haydel; brother, Mark Theriot; his sister, Patricia “Patsy” Kraemer; and many daughters-in-law, sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the Alloway-Verdin family.
Carroll was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Linda Martinez Theriot; parents, Louis, Sr. and Sirena King Theriot; grandparents, John and Dorathea King and Gilbert and Josephine LeBeouf; brothers, Darrell, Dave, Normal, Louis, Jr. and Jerome Theriot; sisters, Arelena Dupre and Dorothy Anna Singleton.
Carroll enjoyed fishing, oldies music, dancing, and collecting classic cars. He loved having a barbecue every weekend and having his family get together and visit. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Carroll was a parishioner at St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
The family would like to thank Dr. Herminio Suazo and Roxanne Carter, RN of Houma Kidney and Hypertension Clinic for caring for their beloved dad for the past eight years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
