Sampdoria coach agrees Leeds and Tottenham target Mikkel Damsgaard can leave
New Sampdoria manager Roberto D’Aversa has revealed he would like to work with Mikkel Damsgaard, but admits he knows he could leave the club this summer, amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United.

Asked about Damsgaard’s future, D’Aversa told the Italian daily La Repubblica: “I would love to work with him, but I know I could lose him.
“What I can say is that it would do him good to play continuously in the Italian league.

“If he could stay, I’m sure his value would increase eventually.”
