Unwanted Leeds United move news emerges after West Ham loss

Leeds United full-back Cody Drameh is set to join Cardiff City on loan for the remainder of the season.

The transfer window is open and the entrants are the only thing on the fans’ minds right now.

The team looks light-hearted and any start may need to be greeted with a similar finish.

Cody Drameh has been well involved in the first team this season having spent a year of development under his belt in the Under-23s.

He came off the bench for Junior Firpo against West Ham today, stressing not only that he is highly regarded, but that he is an option Marcelo Bielsa must consider with the lightness of the squad.

Surprisingly though, Fabrice Romano revealed that after the game the right-back is expected to join Cardiff City on loan for the remainder of the season:

Why?

We currently have no room for maneuver in our team and letting anyone go is naïve.

Drama doesn’t seem quite ready for regular league minutes for us, but we really don’t have anyone else.

I just think loaning him out now seems like a decision taken with a long term view when the short term could be vital for the club.

No more injuries and we have virtually no defense to rebuild.
